In design Drop Cap, guides, images, text

In this weeks practical lesson I looked at in-design. I started off looking at placing images into In-design. Decide to use smiley faces. I did this by saving an image and placing it into a rectangular box that I had drawn previously. Then i resized them and moved them into the centre of the frame. I did this by using the white arrow. The black arrow moved the rectangle i had originally drawn.  The I started to use the text boxes and placing just old and general documents into the boxes i made as you can see above. The title i changed by using the stroke option to the far right. This makes the text bigger and gives an outline to the text and then i added colour to it also. I used the black arrow to the highlight the text when doing so.

For the images on the left hand side I created guides to separate the rectangles that i drew. This allowed me to shape the images and place them wherever I wanted them to go. Then I saved 6 images in my in-design folder and placed them and then manipulated them.  For the whole text, again I did the same as what i did for the title. I placed the text in to the text boxes. I text wrapped it. And then I moved the text into the frame using the white arrow tool. finally I added the drop cap. I did this by highlighting a piece of text and going to the drop cap to change the first letter by making it larger.
